Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson who were both lawyers. The couple relocated to Oxfordshire when she was five where she attended at the Dragon School. Emma chose to be an actor by the age of six. Through the years she was enrolled in the Oxford branch Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing as well as dancing, and also acting.
